I vote bard, since once they lear war chant of sith, they are indestructible if you stack the songs. Also, they allow you to easily beat up golems with any weapon! Just stack the "ballad of the three heroes" until you can hurt them.

Some people consider stacking songs cheating. If you disagree with stacking songs, then my favorite class is barbarian, since they have the highest hps per level, and cannot be flanked. They can also use rage, which is useful.

I like sorcerors. Incredible power if played right. I dont think IWD2 includes the necesary items & spells to turn them into BG2 style cheese machines, but so far my sorceress has proven extremely competent.

well...i haven't gotten my monk to a high enough lvl yet, but from what i've heard they are powerful killing machines at top lvls.

barbarians with maxed strength and con wielding greatswords are unstoppable killing machines. Soloing him now, on Shanegarne bridge, nothings been even near toughing him . And when I've gotten 1 more fighter lvl he'll be 3 lvls proficient with greatswords and have 3 attacks and an attack roll with +20... on lvl...12...

LSO158, what do you mean by stacking songs? Is it something like playing two songs at the same time or multiple versions of the same one.

If you multiclassed a Bard and Barbarian would you end up with someone like a Skald (Bard Kit) from BG2 ?

you can get this feat "lingering song".

it makes your song stay for an extra 3 rounds after you finished playing. now you can click the song hundreds of times, or so i've been told, never played a bard myself.

wizard/sorceror, can deal absolute stacks of damage in a relatively short time.... (try seeing how many enemies can walk through 6 skull traps)
