I have just recently started up my very first mage character with asspirations of having some sort of a familiar by my side (it being a level one spell and all) much to my dismay I cannot seem to find the scroll anywhere. now i have never even noticed it before (it being only able to use by the protagonist and all) and I would really appriciate any help any of you might be able to offer me. Thank you.

Nalia's Keep has the scroll( in the area where the Flail forge is). If you are in ToB already though, then seek out the Arcana Archives in Saradush and help the scroll merchant in there. After helping him, you can buy every single scroll available in the game from him( he sells 2 of each, except Wish which is 1 only). If you cannot go back to Saradush, then you can meet up with him again in Amkethran.
