I SoA and ToB and when i try to the guy that will give the quest to kill a demon with an earthquake spell he always appears busy.i have rested a hundrend times i have load a dozens times and he always appears busy..any help?only the guy who want me to save his kid talks to me and i cant find it do you know where it is i have benn to the illithids and the beholders.That kids hideout is pretty good!!!1

the appear busy is the most well-known bug of BGII. It's good to keep this in mind whenever you start playing a PC game (especially playing an old game such as SoA/ToB): find the latest patches and get the game fully PATCHED!
The kid is not in such dangerous area as illithid and beholder lairs. A hint: there's a device-looking thing on the underdark map; you can actually click on the thing. Try to find it and play with it.
