Hi ,
as every novice mod user I do the mess and ... heeeelp!
I'm not infront of my computer so I can not remember the exact names, but I'll try to be as much descriptive as possible.

I installed Baldurash fixpack (ToB), some sorceres NPC - Tashia (I think), the DungeonBeGone and small mod that adds two new merchants and so the troubles began. There are new items that are pretty *cheese* like some girdle that adds a bunch of resistances. The interesting thing is that most of the new items are unusable by wizard slayer. I'm in part two i.e. the game is new. I fought the poor_red_dragon and after his death there were only some money and something that looks like the Flail of ages, but has some paralysing heads and its damage can be swithed ?! Where are the "red dragon scales" and the_other_things ?! I Ctrl+Q him and there were all the things (in his inventory) that he had to throw and some new *things* - "emerald sword", halberd ?!. Some of the spells are changed (duration, damage, etc).

What causes this? The game is disbalanced. I can equip my party with the new items and then switch on the AI scripts, assign them to the party and I can sit back and relax and watch the battles. What will you recommend me to do? I don't like the game now. Please don't tell me that I must reinstall it.

Thank you.

As far as I know, Dungeon be Gone alters only the starting dungeon and Bonus Merchants (which are official, not a mod; and they are included in Baldurdash) are just that - two merchants. Baldurdash should not mess with that neither.

I've played Tashia, too, and I don't remember any change of Firkraag. As for the flail, do you mean drow snake-headed whip? That sounds like the Darkest Day, but you would probably remember that you had installed it.

Are you sure you don't run any other mods?

Yes I'm. I have no darkest day because ... I said it it another thread - i have DD for SoA and the only place from where I can download DD update so it can work with ToB is FilePlanet - the place I liked before, but I don't now.
I have no other mods. I'll write down the names of the cheesy items and I'll post it.

DungeonBegone I've got from: http://www.forgottenwars.net/?page=mods/flirt

"Freedom's Reign" - (I've got it from here: http://servants.teambg.net/index.php?page=fr_features) - is the other (seems like that this small thing adds the items), but this still does not explain why the dragon forgot to drop what he was supposed to drop. If he is not OK I'm afraid as the game is progressing there will be other "problems".

What I want is just to remove the thing that is disbalancing the game without deinstaling it. Believe me I don't want to wait those 5 CDs to be installed again.

Freedom's Reign is a completely different thing. It is a mod that adds new and shuffles old items. Haven't you read through its features?

You will probably find the old items somewhere else, my guess is that Carsomyr would be in the paladin's stronghold. As for the scales, and any other items, ask at the http://forums.fwstudios.net

I see. The new items I can just drop them, but the game prevents me from taking the old ones and this is a problem. I'll go see their forum.

Thanks.
