Bug Found and Exploited!

I have, in my endless wisdom (

), found another bug. Since trolls are vulnerable to the death spell, I decided to try it out. Sure enough, the troll collapsed, and when I "tabbed" over the troll, it read as dead, and I got the standard 1400 XP. So anyway, the red circle remained under the troll. I then used Melf's Minute Meteors. Lo and behold, I killed it (for good this time) and got an additional 1400 XP. I have Baldurdash as well as the ToB patch. It works with spirit trolls also. Ah yes, the infamous kill a troll twice bug! Same happens when you use Crom Faeyr. One hit and they go down, but you get 1400XP, a second hit kills them completely, netting you an additional 1400XP.

Hmmm... Why kill it the second time? Smakc it down, get your exp, then let it re-generate. kill it again! Sure it'll take forever, but you can get hoards of exp like this. Or you could just go flesh to stone a dragon a few times, much faster [img]smile.gif[/img]

Way to go TM. I also posted one a while back with the wand of wounder. Go and use it on a dragon I used it on Big red. When you finale get the one where it turns him to stone you get the exp. Then use the ring of earth control and turn him back to flesh and repeat. You can get alot of exp this way. Mind you I only did it once. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

i think ive come across 'an exploitable bug'(not likely though) as well, yesterday i loaded up the tutorial & chose to load a character from my save game instead of actually creating one, & on the completion of my tutorial it actually loaded the game from the beggining in irenicus dungeon so there i was rampaging across the dungeon with my Lv.17 mage escorted by 2 skeleton warriors & an invisible stalker (because they hang around for more than 8 hours) since loadinng the tute clears all the inventory items, i could re-cast find familiar & i got 50% of the familiars hitpoints again! making it 100%, i guess i could solo BG2 with my Lv.17 mage now!
