Viconia' s Return to the Underdark

Galadria(casts Comet Strike)(all Gith still alive fall to the ground. Party members unaffected)
Attalus Attacks Githyanki Leader with Carsomyr. One chop slices into the humanoid, dealing damage to its abdomen, and dispersing its spell.
Viconia Strikes Anti-Paladin with hammer, gets a solid hit, while ducking under its blade. It glances off of her helmet. Swings on the backstroke and smashes its head, killing it.
(At these signs of success, the Vespae rally, attacking the surviving Githyanki. Their frantic attacks strike home this time, since the chant is broken>)

He glanced around, making sure noone payed him too much attention.
As he knelt by his Gith 'friend', seemingly to help him up, he pulled free the sword and drove it deep into the creature's chest. It spasmed a bit before falling still.
Skip put a boot next to the wound to pull the magical sword free, then wiped off the blood and gore on the humanoid's clothes, what little it wore. Then, with another glance, he hid the weapon again.

"Sorry, my friend. Next time, walk me to the nearest bar straight away..."

OOC- Hey people! ^_^ i was invited to join this by Galadria... just curious as to what this is about, and what has happened so far. As soon as I'm caught up with that, I'll put in my usual 2 characters, Skye (female elf blade-bard) and her song dragon partner, Lyulfe. ^_^ can't wait to get started!

The Vespae continue their assault on the remaining Gith, their poison working well, now. Soon, all are dead. Mnnina hovers in front of Skip, "Thank you so much for helping us," gives him a big kiss.

Galadria, I do not trust these Bee-like creatures. I have never heard of such a species and it seems like a mayor coincident that we encounter them just as we are on a mission against Lloth.

One way or another, we must figure out a way to get in without a frontal assault, which would be bloody and futile. Otherwise, you and Viconia would have to sneak in there together, and I know how little you two relish each other's company. But, tell me as we walk, about your Mistress, You said that she came to you in a dream. Did you mean initially, or to give you orders? Who is she, and what cause has she?"

"Greetings, surfacers. My people tell me that you have saved the outpost. You have my gratitude, and that of my people. How can I aid you in return?"
GALADRIA
"Aid against Lolth, oh, Queen. Her hostiity to us is unremittant, and I wish to show her that I can harm her, also, so that she will stop attempting the life of my follower. I, with my party, wish to get into their city of Mezzobaranshan, to do a thing that will hurt Lolth in her pride. If she daes not desist, then, I have another plan in mind, which I am not yet ready to share with you. Can you show me to the fugitive Drow in your care, now?"

Now then, about this drow prisoner, what is he like? Does he have a temper, does he remain patient and follows directions?

(Before Wespe can reply, a messenger somes buzzing in. She touches antennae with Wespe, and the Queen turns back to Galadria.
Wespe"Before you can interview my drow, we have word of a drow patrol, bearing with it two surfacers. Does this interest you? Might they be friends of yours?"
Galadria"Surfacers? Captive of the Drow? We certainly are. Can you lead us to them?"
Wespe "Certainly. Mnnina. lead them to it."
(They go to an ambush point selected bt Mnnina. Before long, a drow patrol, boasting of its achievements, comes carelessly alon, bearing two prisoners.) The party attacks, killing all the drow and rescuing the prisoners)

When we are inside the city, I suggest you pose as Viconia's slaves. She can easily pass for a matron of a small house.And I think I can get my hands on some false insignia's and uniforms.
