Ah, Hordes of the Underdark. Never did get into that. The 'you lose all your equipment' thing kinda killed it for me.

You do get it back, though you usually have way better stuff by the time you do.

Besides, you're missing a good game.

Yeah, that pissed me off too, but you'll find it back, not to mention the much better weapons, which can also be upgraded if you can afford it, which in my case wasn't a problem, i was loaded.

Backups eh ? Yeah, if i had a second harddrive that would be a possibility, but i don't. I guess i'll just have to get one, because it's the 5th time in the past 12 months that i lost all my data, and frankly i'm getting a little tired of it. And now i have another issue, something hijacked my browser, and did a little redecorating. everything looks slightly different now, and some programs won't even run anymore. MS antispyware had to be uninstalled and Norton is totally corrupted. Keeps me busy i guess.

5 times in a year! I think it's time to find a new shop.

It's still under warranty, so it doesn't cost me anything. It's just that when it's fixed, everything works smooth for two or three months, and then the whole thing starts all over again. It's always the mainboard that dies on me. And it also takes like forever for them to repair it and return it to me. Over the past 12 months it's been in the repairshop for at least 5 months. I can't say this particular computer is very satisfying to me.

Warranty or not the down time has to cost something. Next time, I'd be looking for a complete refund and going somewhere else. Mainboards do fail, but not 5 in a year. Nobody has that kind of bad luck.

[/QUOTE]Well, I did try and play it, but it just wasn't all that fun. Too much time in a little dungeon, not enough time anyplace else.

I never really got into NWN, i liked the rules and all, but everything seemed so tiresome. Is EfU the same?

Not sure, never tried it. I think it's mostly just a dungeon crawl.

Well, I'm about to mail all your ice creams! Flavors are Haggis, Garlic, Anchovie, and vanilla.
