I used to look in CompUsa but they've had such a poor selection of software lately that I tend to do my windowshopping on Amazon, making a wishlist for sometime when I can afford things or they go into the bargain bins.

I can't shop anywhere here because it's impossible to find English versions of the game, and I don't like translations. So am forced to do my shopping at amazon or ebay.

Originally my beef was simply a retarded return policy. Now you've simply added fuel to the fire. /salute
I do "give a shit"... if you read correctly, you'd see I offer to help the people. That's not even in my job description... I'm merchandising, not customer service. Quote:
At any other retail store -- if you don't have a receipt you can still return the merchandise, but you can only get store credit, not cash. Which is what we wanted. So, I have to go do RL things now, nice confirming how much you guys suck -- thanks.
Oh so I'm incompetant now? Thanks for the compliment. I'll have you know, I just returned something a few weeks ago at a Best Buy (not the one I work at), and I managed to get it returned without it tagged. I have never been able to return anything, for store credit, exchange, complete return... nothing without a reciept. [ 10-26-2006, 11:00 PM: Message edited by: Sir Goulum ] |

Cloudy: I'll try... its just after a days work of putting up with idiots and jerks, I get a little wound up and when I come on here seeing people say misleading things about my place of work, I get a little riled up.

Where I come from (Penang, Malaysia), you'd be lucky to exchange anything with a receipt. If its a faulty product, you'd be able to replace it with a receipt, but exchange a birthday present? Very few shops do that.
So you guys outraged over not being able to exchange something without a receipt is hilarious. I am constantly being amazed since coming to Canada ![]()

I'm a good girl and keep all my receipts for a time until I know all is well with the product I purchased. I'm like the Girlscouts, I'm prepared!
![]() Oh, and here is another online site that sells PC games, it's where I buy them myself. I just love the company, they have done me well over the years, and sometimes even give me a game as a free gift. They also get UK versions of games. I came across this place years ago when I was searching for the UK version of Sacred. I just didn't like the fact that the US version took out the blood, and took out the colorful language LOL. All the stores only sold the US version, so GoGamer.com turned into the place for me to get UK versions of games here in the US. I'm also thinking about now getting a Saitek keyboard, my Logitech one is just too big. http://www.gogamer.com/PC-Games_stcV...8VVviewcat.htm [ 10-26-2006, 08:06 PM: Message edited by: ladyzekke ] |

Nice site, good price on NWN's 2 as well. I might have to order it from there, in case it really bites...
