Hm... I suppose your right... You would have to have read many of the books and had many of the discussions as I have about this point of view to understand my side... Just to protect my Faith, not all of my views are shared by my Faith and dont hold my opinion agains other Baha'i's. If im wrong and an idiot then I dont want other Baha'i's to suffer from it should you know or meet any.

I have read many books and argued many time on subjects like these both here and in RL. I value knowlage and seek it all the time but I have not see a real fact from you to prove your point, only statement of what you belive, I found out long ago that without back up refances and evidence that beliefs are nothing to stand on in an aurgement or discussion.

HOLY CRAP! (bad choice of words I know but it best descrobes my feelings)
Well I have read bits and pices while waiting in waiting rooms.
And, no I had no idea that he said that... Just to pout my opinion in this will of god thing he has pointed out. What would we learn from life if Creation caught us whenever we fell? We are in this life to learn. If Creation was there to solve our problems we would not lern because he would be there for us. We are in this world to be ready for the next; the Relm of God that is where he will be to help us. If you dont like that then tell me so but I dont think it was very contraversial unless you are so week you cant survive and think that God hjas deserted you because of a *humans* actions have caused you harm. I can give my opinion I have gained from the massive talk I mentiond at the start but t would take ages to type it all down.

Thats because I cant. All Belief is is a matter of opinion. I have been arguing your (sometimes) supported facts with my Belief and opinion. Does that make me wrong?

Therefore, like Lilarcor said, it is impossible to prove either of the beliefs.
*Takes deep breath*
Yes, and about half way through the convo me and Simon realised that would happen and instead went to watch Shane run around in a skirt

PS. Dagorion, you have a serious double post problem

I don't agree with the view of Buddhas I posted. I am not a Buddhist. I do not agree that "life is suffereing" I have read much of the Qur'an, but am not a Muslim and don't believe Muhammads words are from God either. I know Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God, that the world is abundantly filled with positivity, often unnoticed and overshadowed by the comparitively rarer negatives in our lives.

The point I made by posting Buddhas words, is that from a distance you may believe that "All roads lead to God" but when you get closer and examine each one, you find that the God being revealed is different, the destination is different, and the path to getting there is different.

Nirvana is not Heaven. The only assurance of salvation found in the Qur'an is in matyrdom. Assurance of salvation in Christianity is faith in Jesus atoning death. Hinduism has no salvation. It's all down to the laws of Karma and Dharma. Buddhism teaches an escape from the cycle of rebirth inherant to Hinduism. Brahama is not Allah. Brahma is part of a pantheon, that is ultimately pantheism: a belief that all is God, not that God is seperate from and predating creation as with the monotheistic religions. Allah is not the close, loving father Christians know God to be.

They are different paths, different destinations and different 'God's' revealed.

Its the only way I can address all the posts. I could have one post for them all but that would take WAY too much trouble.

All major religions that I encoutered have some book or basing behind it. Evidence to show those who do not belive or question their belief has some truth to it, Does your contain such a book or base?
While I understand Belief comes from faith in something that it is hard to prove. The is all something that caused such belief, be it an event or teaching of person.
Take that as your facts, strength your belief and oppions with it.

Why do I feel like Mr. Maski(sp)

What is the details your faith by the way?
