I agree that Felix was probably hinting at companies putting out crappier quality stuff than they did in the days of yore. Though it could have been read both ways. Benefit of the doubt, hey?

Myself I cannot buy a decent pair of jeans anymore, because they're about half a thick as they were. And now you know what "50% off sale" really means. You go climbin up *one* mountain back home, and your pants are ready for the cleaning rag bins.

I wear mule-type slippers in the winter - they are very convenient when I get up to feed Tuppy and I am very cold because it's quicker than putting socks on. But I would never wear them somewhere where someone might see me - I don't get the uggs outside look at all. I blame Pammy.

One look that bugs the crap out of me is when women wear racer-back singlet tops with a normal bra - so you can see the whole bra straps down the shoulder blades with no singlet over the top. I mean, the point of the racer back is to show off your shoulders and back - so why would you wear a normal bra underneath? And it's not exactly hard to fix your bra so it doesn't show, you just need one of those tie things that pull the straps together in the middle . I'm also not a big fan of the layering trend - where you wear multiple singlets that may or may not match.

I am with you on the three-quarter length sleeves, LadyZ!! Too hot in summer and not warm enough in winter and uncomfortable when you put a sweater or jacket over the top because the sleeves keep riding up! Not practical at all.

Another thing that irritates me is the way sizes are getting bigger but they are not making smaller sizes to replace the sizes that are now bigger. What used to be a size 12 is now like a size 8, but there are very few size 6s and no size 4s or anything - so what are the really thin chicks wearing?? I am buying extra small tops these days - this is crazy because I am small but not THAT small!! Also hate the way most bras are padded - it is really hard to get a bra with no padding. C and D cups should not have padding in them. If you have C or D cup breasts you don't need padding
