Encard places the bag somewhere in his robe, puts down his partially finished drink, and walks through the portal, his hands disappearing into various pouches and places in his robe as he checks to make sure he has everything he needs.

Kaz'erthimon bows ignoring the pouch of coins jumps through the portal, thinking *if these berks want to think me frightened of them then let them, it will be their folly to underestimate me, such is the way it has always been, my people are underestimated and destroy their foes before the fools realize the danger, ah well adventure awaits and greater knowledge is what I strive for.*

"Only fools rush in" he mutters to himself, "still - a thousand coppers is no small amount. What the hell - it's not like I've got anything better to do"

He looks at the half-elven girl "You comming - or should I just take both the remaing pouches?"

He proceeds to walk slowly towards the portal while readying himself for any suprices that lie beyond.

(You materialize in the Beastlands. An amazing sight meets your eyes. The sky and the landscape seems divided in two. To your left, there is shadowy evening and a thick, seemingly endless bramble patch. To your right, a broad savannah spreads under anoonday sun, an occasional plane tree puctuating the grassland, and herds of grazing beasts to be seen in the distance. Aruella is reclining gracefull on a totally out-of -place lounge chair, speaking to a manlike creature with long blonde hair falling around his shoulders. His eyes are a remote golden color, and his pupils are slitted. His nails are very long and black.)
ARUELLA "So, Rodomphin, dear, you saw the thief, did you? How do you know?"

RODOMPHIN "Ah, Princesssss, he boasted of it, he diiiid. Held up the precioooous flask with your essssence in it, he did, and said, tellll that silllly biiiitch that sheeee'll neverrrr find meeee where I've goooone."

ARUELLA (Taps him lightly and playfully with a fan that has just appeared in her hand.) "Rodomphin, you know that I am not a Princess. Tell me, dear one, who it was and where he went."

RODOMPHIN "Weeel, dear Arrrruella. not toooo put tooo fine a poooint on it, it was that Slatkin, it wasss. And, he rannnnn over into yoooonder realmmmmm." (He points to the briar patch) "You know, the terriorrry of the King of the Foxesssss."

ARUELLA(She stands, fanning herself. The incongruous chair disappears.)(Sighs) "Oh, dear, that briar patch. It will snag my silk! I must change." (At once, she is dressed all in a black leather catsuit that fits her like a second skin. She looks in surprise at a whip that appears in her hand, and tosses it to the ground. It likewise vanishes.) "Come along, bloods, let us go into the dreary place"

OOC- sorry that I haven't replied for awhile, we had company over at our house for a bit, and internet was banned during that time. -_- *sighs* ah well. uss, I know how you feel... so far everyone's ignored my character too, cept Ar-Cunin. -_- I'm boring, I guess..
IC- Skye playfully stuck her tongue out in Beorn's direction when he was facing the other way. Sauntering over, she picked up her bag of coins and stowed it away among her possessions. Checking to make sure that she had everything, Skye strode over to the portal. "Eh, well here goes nothing," she muttered as she stepped through to the other side. Walking tentatively up to Aruella, she tapped her on the shoulder. "Um, here, one of the people didn't want their money," she told her, as she handed her Kaz'erthimon's money with a shrug. "And I don't need it," Skye added with a smirk. Turning to look at the thorny twistings of vines, she made a face. Unconsciously she started to make patterns with her hands, but she caught herself and unsheathed her sword instead. "Well, let's go shall we?" she said cheerfully.
OOC- Skye has a past that she would rather keep in the dark, as it were. So if you're curious as to the strange patterns she was making with her hands, its connected to that. And they were draconic symbols, if you're really that interested... ^_^

[Attalus]

JETT (He looks suspiciously at the seeminly impenetrable brambles. "Suits, milady, but , how shall we pass. Thouse briars look mighty sharp. And thick"

[Galadria]

ARUELLA (She smiles sweetly but rather vaguely at Skye, and closes her hand around the money, which diappears.) "Yes, well, we must find a way, rather than simply hurling ourselves upon the thorns." (Her eyes probe restlessly upon the growth.)
