I used a time machine and saw the movie.

I was quite pleased with it. Although I thought the movie would have been better off without some parts of the story and the plot was slightly too simple, the movie looked gorgeous the fighting scenes pretty much kicked ass UNLIKE ANYTHING EVER BEFORE. This is just my opinion but I really loved the action in the movie. The plot elements and story wouldn't be exciting to those who haven't played the game but I think there is enough awesome action in the movie to satisfy people who don't understand what's happening storywise.

PS: YES, DEAR GOD YES, it was MUCH BETTER than The Spirits Within.

Advent Children. WOW.

The story was great. Yes, maybe it seems simple, but I think that is because we know the story of the video game. To me the story was great because it filled in the hole FF7 did not fill up- those people in black with numbers saying "Reunion". They only say so much, but one thing this movie lacked was explaining further as to how they regained their own consciousness, etc. Another would be the underdeveloped stories of the other characters in the movie (the movie assumes that we have played the game though, so I guess that fits in just fine).

I just love it. I want to watch it again but I have so many things to do. So scratch that first. Man oh man... Now I want to play FF7 all over again.

OMNISLASH! WOOHOO!!!

I just love using time machines

The story was pretty simple, and I must've watched the movie 5 times w/o subtitles and was very confused. And Red XIII sounded like a little boy! Whats up with that!

That wasn't Red talking, that was the little Cat thing on it's back. You know, the character no one ever used...

(Necromantic powers at work again)
So, it took a really long time for Advent Children to finally come to the U.S. since I first heard about it. I picked it up last night, and I've watched it twice. Has anyone else got a hold of the English version? What'd ya think? Personal feelings: Frickin' sweet!
