Hmm, let's put Vaskez's theory to the test. Technically, if you take this test, you get higher than what you're supposed to get so it's going to be lower. But I took Stormy's and mine is higher than on here, such odd accurances

I scored 111 at the iVillage. Given a sigma of 16 (the usual used for norming intelligence scores) that is 2 standard deviations below my normal score.
I haven't tried Stormymystic's link yet, but there are more links on the Uncommonly Difficult IQ Tests page. Enjoy! a short while later The test provided via Stormymystic's link places me at 140. [ 05-16-2003, 12:40 AM: Message edited by: Azred ]

Congratulations! Your general IQ score is 140.
A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 129-143 is considered to be "highly intelligent". The other one from Stormymystic: Your IQ score is 133 we can tell your Intellectual Type is a Facts Curator Since the test weren't in my language, I am quite pleased [ 05-16-2003, 05:53 AM: Message edited by: B_part ]

My "theory" is actually quite obvious: all I'm saying is that that test that was linked is not thorough or a good IQ test at all because there are only 2 choices for each question and many categories of intelligence are not tested at all. It does give an indication of of intelligence but not very accurate - it's too easy to get a ridiculously high score - on proper IQ tests 160 is like the top of the scale...

I did Stormy's test and got:
Your IQ score is 135 Our analyses indicate that your Intellectual Type is: Precision Processor. This means that among other things, you have superior skill in mathematics. I'd say that's correct well I'm not bad at maths Stormy, thanks that test was more thorough and accurate I'd say the only thing missing was a time limit which is kind of crucial because IQ is related to how fast you think and that test gives you as much time as you need to answer each question therefore slower people can get just as much of it correct :-/ it's still better than the one originally posted though

I got a 172.
But unlike the other IQ test here on Ironworks I don't consider this test to be reliable, its way too short! No way is it an accurate representation of someone's IQ, try Stormmystic's test instead, or failing that the best one on the Web right now "Test the nation".
