Hello Horatio! Where've you been hiding yourself lately?
![]() Sir Goulum, check directly with the universities about their 'late application' policies. You might find a few who will consider you.

Sir G.... student counselors are not the ones who process and accept applications. They don't know what decision will be made... only what they *think* will be made.
Put it this way... if you don't try, the answer is no. If you do try, it might still be no, but it might also be yes. That's also known as the Wayne Gretzky rule... 100% of the shots you *don't* take don't go in the net. I think you can appreciate that one If you're really interested in the university, give it a try. You truly have nothing to lose.

Check around, Sir G. If you can get ahold of an actual person at one of the universities, most of them are pretty reasonable, if you can get ahold of them fairly soon. Also, there are some universities (the University of Lethbridge I know for sure) has a second application deadline at the end of June. I don't know what it's like up in Edmonton in terms of colleges, but there are about 4 or 5 in Calgary where you can get some early credits with the express intent of transferring to a big university - several of my friends have done that.
Congrats on the Oilers - big win! But we have the division, so

Well I suppose... but there's also the problem of what to take. Right now, I almost feel like upgrading half of my marks but I don't know if that would get me anywhere different. The U of A would never accept me with the marks I have, dunno about Grant Macewan, but NAIT would for sure take me. Even if I do get a late acceptance, I wouldn't know what to take. I'm just lost and confused.......

Grades are only part of what a university is looking for. They're also looking for leadership, teamwork, and other abilities that don't show up on a grading scale. And your first year at University is generally assumed to be a generic year -- you'll be taking core courses to get them out of the way. You may have one or two classes in your field of study, but most will not be there.
When you do get an acceptance, they'll have a counselor to work with you on your course selections. Ultimately, though, you're the one who will decide it -- no one else. Good luck. You'll make it through... guaranteed.

Anyone got the Easter spirit yet ? What the hell is that anyway ? I just layed an egg, should i go paint it now, and hide it so the kids can go search for it ? And what if i don't have any kids ? Should i go search for it myself ? What's the fun in that if i already know where the egg is hidden ?
Yeah, i'm kinda tipsy. ![]()

OK, this is what you should do Johnny. Yes, take your egg, and paint it too. But hide it in your apartment, for yourself on Easter Morning.

Hide it when you're drunk. Won't remember a thing.
