Sometimes the amniotic fluid fills back up. Sometimes they just put the woman on bed rest until the baby is old enough to be taken by c-section. The condition is called oligohydramnios,I think. Anyway, there are a lot of options and a lot of reasons this could be happening and I would really encourage you and your wife to do a lot of research, get a second opinion and leave the option of abortion for only the most extreme of circumstances. You three will be in my thoughts and prayers and I know I'm new here but I do know of a lot of rescourses you can go to for information. I'm also tied very heavily into the birthing community in Washington State and have a lot of information available to me. If you want any direction for that sort of thing, please don't hesitate to pm me. Again, I'll really be thinking about you. I truly hope things get better.

Thank You, Salinye. I will keep you in mind if we have any questions. We found some good information on the web last night on this topic so it has given us some hope that there is still a possibility that things will work out OK.

What news I hope everything goes well on Tuesday. And don't be too hasty to move... there is much to be gained by patience.

My prayers go out to you.

Ruby already said it, but Our prayers are with you and your wife in this Pritchke, I don't know what I would do if we had lost one of our podlings.

Holy Cow, talk about a scary scenario!

I'm glad this was only a false alarm and it worked out for the best for you and your family.

Congratulations and good luck!

good news... Don't take the gender as a given though, the doctors got my gender wrong, but that was a long long time ago so maybe they're getting better..

I hope both you and your partner no longer have to worry about all that much anymore (stress cant be good for a pregnant woman and her baby )
