Don't worry guys, I have a feeling Thomas won't be back, after he said that he'd found another forum.

Well it doesn't even come down to that Xen, now I could understand if someone was cussing him then he got upset and decided to drop the F-Bomb, but other than that I don't see any point to acting like a donkey when someone makes a comment.

Though I'll never get tired of that "Get a life" arguement especially when he's the one flipping out on the net

Dont worry Im still here. (you must be so happy now)

I appreciate that I was told off for using the F-word (once), but when it comes with a "or you'll get banned" (I know thats not what Xen said, but he might as well have)like I'm some kind of criminal. I didnt even use it in a context to offend anyone.

Anyways. I think I got the game going properly by some cable switching, so I'll be playing my BGII that is no longer FOULED up so I'll stop offencing everyone in here with my foul language and my attitude and my presense.

The logitech drivers don't seem to be compatible with the BG series (or most of the games). To solve this problem, you have to "update" your drivers back to the ones Win XP provided for your mouse AND keyboard (that is the drivers you originally have before installing the Logitech drivers). Uninstalling won't work, as Win XP just installs them back the next time you restart your computer.

Here's how you do it:

1. Go to Control Panel, find and click on System-->Hardware-->Device Manager

2. Choose "update driver" for your mouse/keyboard

3. Select "Install froma list or specific location" and click next.

4. Select "Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install" and click next.

5. Select "PS/2 Compatible Mouse" for your mouse, and "Standard 101/102 key" for your keyboard.

Be aware that after you've done this, you'll sacrifice all the amazing features the Logitech keyboard has to offer to users. But you can always reinstall them back after you've finished BGII.

Dont refrain from posting again if you have a problem. I didnt really have a problem with using the F-word once ( and indeed not even to scold anyone ), just that I thought your reply to Xen was a little too harsh for someone who was only trying to help. Believe me, Xen didnt mean to flame you or anything, if you think he did, im quite sure you misinterpreted his post.

Things did kinda heat up after a while, but it shouldnt stop you from posting again. Just try not to use the F-word again, as you've probably noticed that it draws attention around here . This board can actually be rather friendly now and then ,.. and it houses some of the greater names when it comes to information about BG:
Alson, SixofSpades, Dundee ( and also Weimer and Jcompton on occassion ).

Newayz, a bit overdue ...but:

 !! Welcome to Ironworks !!
