I always just called him Bob the Dark Elf. HA! HA!
No but really last year I went to Las Vegas Nevada and there was a convention going on there that had every Game company on the globe there. Black Isle had a booth there and they had about 20 people talking about this same subject, they were 10 to 1 saying it was pronounced "Dritz" Like "ritz" the cracker and with that I was very happy to happen upon the booth when I did because I had wondered for years How to say his name. That's the way I plan to pronounce his name forever so you can call him Bob the dark Elf if you want, you know to each his own but, never argue with a woman you like.

I think I'll just keep pronouncing him Drizzit (with the i).

Jan actually sounds like he was written by two people--not only due to the difficulty of forcing just *1* person to come up with everything that spouts out of his mouth, but also because he's not quite sure how to spell things:

Turn your Subtitles on and see him say, "What? Is there a griffon about?"

And then wait for him to have his dialogue with Aerie about his cousin the griffin baiter.
[/QUOTE]Yes another mistake is one of Jan's subtitles says "We make a fine partnership like Drizzt and Wolfgar..." Wulfgar of course should be spelt W-U-L-F-G-A-R so there's another mistake!

I always spell Drizzt phoenetically as "Drisst," but I think the above-mentioned "Dritst" is also appropriate.
Except for the last remark, as I've never heard of Drizzt being pronounced as "Dritst" before in my life, I agree with Timber on this.
