Howdy Goronvir,

Late model Logitech and Microsoft keyboards here in Oz have the @ as shift 2 and put the " on another one - usually the key immediately to the left of the main ENTER key.

If your 2 key has " marked on it then that's what you should get. One way to test it is the Quick Reply box on this page - click on the box to activate the cursor and then start tapping keys until you find that sucker

You could also check your language/keyboard settings. This website has instructions on how to do this in XP and VISTA :

http://www.conversationexchange.com/...d-language.php

Check the 'Installed Services' menu and make sure it's a UK keyboard that's highlighted (or select UK if it's in the list). If not, follow the 'add' instructions for the appropriate keyboard layout/IME from the website.

Maybe direct us to a picture of the model of keyboard you are using?

Howdy Memnoch,

Since there's a 'spiritual succesor to BG' due sometime in the future maybe Ziroc could rename this

forum to Dragon Age : Origins / Baldurs Gate & Tales of the Sword Coast and move it back to the

main section

I still like to dig up the Kobold debates once in awhile. That was some good stuff.

Thanks for the help; I found the " at the 'top' of the # and ~ key, which is next to the main enter key and on the right of the ' and @ key.
The keyboard is a tsunami "CITY" Runner 1000.

Kobold commandos are good when you are strong enough to clobber them and loot the arrows of fire, but they are hard before then!

If want a glimpse of what I'm referring to, check here

It's one of the younger ones, but it's from a time when the BG1 forums were exceptionally lively.
