question.. so what will happen for example if you un-partition your HD, will windows automatically sort out your programs involved or you have to do them manually?

im not sure mine is possible since, but some wierd stroke, my windows ended up in drive F and drive C is my extra partitioned HD.

note: D and E are cd drives [img]tongue.gif[/img]

My windows instillation on my gaming machine is D:, it doesnt make any difference though, although it can get annoying when programs automatically try and install onto C

If you dont have anything on the drive and you remove the partition, it will be fine, but don't try and rename your windows instillation partition, or you can say "bye bye" to your OS, and as for programs, the registry only knows where they are now, and if you move them, your OS wll have no idea
