Somehow that remark scares the hell out of me. Are you sure you're watching the game, johnny, and not the players?
That's the kinda language they use in that corner of the sportsworld, don't blame me for it. If that scared you, then what image do you get out of "he's on fire" ?

But actually, i'm not watching anything at the moment, i kicked Canal+ out the door to lower my monthly costs a little. Sad, but i had to make some adjustments. So all my information comes directly from nba.com, and not from watching the games myself anymore. Damn...i want a satelite dish.

Good lord! Mavs lost to the Rockets again!!!

Great end to the season then they blow their momentum... no one can stop T-Mac when he wants to dominate... hehehe

Avery Johnson sure has a lot in his mind right now...

Doesn't really come as a surprise to me, is Don Nelson still Dallas' headcoach ? If that's the case, then there's your explanation. With a tactic mind like his, no team will ever win a championship. The man refuses to play defense, and by now it must be pretty obvious that playing hard D is the road to victory.

Good comeback from Indiana btw.

And it's also good to see the Bulls back in the playoffs, and win as well.

Ooh, Seattle's winning!

Does Seattle usually win? I kinda just picked a random team to follow. I don't even know their name.

Nah, Seattle usually chokes in the first round. They made it to the finals once in the nineties, but they had to face Michael Jordan and Da Unbeattabulls. They were definitely among the better teams in those days, but not good enough obviously.

I know they won a championship once, but that must have been somewhere in the seventies, ancient history.

Rats. Wanna direct me to a good second round team, if Seattle doesn't make it?

Phoenix probably, Miami most likely. I just hope Detroit goes all the way again. Things are looking pretty good right now, they are leading against Philadelphia right now, which will give them a 2-0 series lead.

I shall leave it to a coin toss. Heads Phoenix, tails Miami, and if it lands on its side, Detroit.

Edit- Whoop, heads, looks like Phoenix.

Nope, it's Avery Johnson. Mavs ended the season on such a positive note by winning 10 out of their 11 games left? Johnson also emphasizes on defense.

Right now though they sorely lack the leadership of Nash, and it seems T-Mac is starving. Right now his drive is just what the Rockets need, and they are helping him also.

Heheh...there's music in Dallas after all, the series is now 2-1, Houston leading. Strangely enough all games in this series so far have been won by the away team.

New Jersey almost managed to win their first, but it took double OT and in the end Miami snatched the victory away to take a 3-0 series lead. I guess this one is as good as in the books.
