I either know who adds me or I ask and if I don't like the answer block and delete. I haven't had anything like that ever. It was always like someone who just copied addresses from a forum (on which I hadn't said anything yet then and she didn't know me ) or it's because someone gave it to someone else for gaming or I put it up somewhere.

Has happened to me before as well. I usually add a person if I get the invitation popup, even if I don't recognize their addy, because it could be someone I know, but they use a different name on MSN. My MSN for instance is not Ladyzekke but Devetaki, so. But yeah, I've got a few on my list I have no idea who they are, and they never hail me. I have one recent one that hailed me twice now, and he is weird, and tells odd lies about himself, I think I'm going to just block him soon.

I haven't used MSN for a while now but it used to happen now and then. Usually I wouldn't add them, especially if they had a really stupid name, like a combination of upper and lower case letters, or something, or a description of something they were doing - this screams annoying to me . I prefer just to avoid having to talk to them, because even though there might be normal people among them that I could have a reasonable conversation with, I don't want to have to block all the losers because that clogs up my list of contacts, and I would have to put up with talking to idiots and wasting my time, and it's all just a big hassle

Lucky me... I never had people do that. Perhaps if someone's PC got affected by malicious spyware then he could be the one sending those little babies.. tsktsk.
