No Davros, but we lost "only" with a little difference against Man U the other day, so maybe there's hope.(prolly not) On a more serious matter, there IS plenty of talent in the West Ham team, but i guess they're only preparing them for a big transfer. You don't have to remind me that West Ham sucks (kinda), but hey.... there's always a future.

Back on topic. I personally give Saddam Hussein a better chance of survival than lowly West Ham.

Assuming it comes to war, I don't think it will start before the first week in March. The Bush Administration seems to be quite happy with the way the reports from the weapons inspections are going, so they will delay a little longer before committing to a war, in order to pick up more support in the UN. The news here reports that the Administration probably won't commit to war before the Middle of January at the earliest.

I did hear last night on the local news that some National Guard units are beginning to be called up. But it will take a while to get them and their equipment over to the Gulf region, so I think three weeks is a little pre-mature. Besides that, no ground attack will take place except on a new moon (when it is completely dark). The dates for a new moon are the first couple of days in January, Feburary and March. January is out, because it's too soon. Feburary is honestly too soon as well. March will be about right. Hopefully, if it comes to war, it will be over quick and the fighting won't extend into the summer.

As there are only 11 days left in the year I'd say you're right with West Ham and wrong with Saddam.

The UK needs time to fix a problem with it's tanks - that they break when exposed to sand. Expect a lengthy wait

Why wait for the UK to fix Her tanks, we have plenty. Besides a longer wait will only improve Insane's chances and worsen ours. If the brass has really decided that we need to go in, I don't look for a long wait...no not at all. I don't know about the rest of you, but when the last war with Iraq went down, I joined the Army. I may do so again but we shall see...we shall see. Iraq is like a rabid dog: if left alone it might not seek you out and bite you...but then again it might. I am all for a swift, decisive, and FINAL military action against Iraq. Think about it: Insane has been laughing in his turban since the end of the last war...who knows what kind of mischief he and his 40,000 thieves are up to?
