For me.. there's only one I can really talk about, because she's the only one I can truly call a "partner" (the rest are just female companions [img]smile.gif[/img] ). I first met her when I was meeting up with a really good friend from primary school, and she happened to be one of the people who came along. Didnt really notice her, but then she got my ICQ, and we probably didnt talk too much..then all of a sudden we started talking a whole lot, even when I was attached to someone else, about everything, since we have complementory senses of humor [img]smile.gif[/img] and I began to get more attached to her than my girlfriend at the time..so when my girlfriend eventually dumped me and I got over her..some how things just fell so rightly into place without me doing a thing. Its just one of those things that you totally don't plan for at all, you have no intention for it to occur, and only occurs because of some distant twist of fate..but then it did happen, and I was the happiest I'd ever been in much of my teenage life. We were both crazy about each other (mentally as well as physically).. To cut a long story short, love died. End of story [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img]

My mate and I met over 10 years ago, on the rodeo circuit.
He worked the arena, and I was a PRCA barrel-racer.....He would always comment on the choice of tack I used on my horses, and we would see each other around.....

A little over three years ago, I went to Israel for what was supposed to be only 3 wks. I saw him briefly before I left, and he gave me his new address and phone number. I told him I'd send him a postcard.

Well, as with ALL military TDY's, our C-5 kept breaking down, so instead of being gone 3 wks, I finally got home over a month later.
I moved out of where I was, and got an apartment. I found his note in my wallet, and called him. We went out that night, and I never actually spent one night in the apartment I rented. *LMAO* I broke the lease, and moved in with him the next day. We have been together ever since, got engaged 1 1/2 yrs ago, and plan to be married this Christmas Eve.
