Hey 250 just because you don't know HTML you don't need a host that has a site-builder facility. In fact I don't like homestead either with that huge thing at the bottom "BUILT BY HOMESTEAD" it's got "Can't do HTML" written all over it.
Nah the truth is that no one makes sites purely in HTML these days....it takes too long. They use software packages like Sierra Webstudio (what I used for my site http://vaskez.tripod.com ) and the most professionals aparently use Dreamweaver. For animations you can use Macromedia Flash which is a wicked tool and for nice other effects you can use java scripts but they are the most difficult to learn to make. So just get a web-design tool and choose any host. There are loads of free ones: Tripod, Angelfire, Geocities, although granted, those aren't the best ones. Try maybe worldzone or cjb.net? Look around, do a search for web-hosting.
