Although people ping on it quite a bit...Microsoft's FrontPage is a pretty good tool for beginners and most intermediate users. You just have to be careful about using too many of the advance functions.
However, I agree...DreamWeaver takes first place in my book. But remember that Dreamweaver can be a little difficult to use for beginners as it does not offer as much "hand-holding" (and I mean that in a good way) as FrontPage does. ------------------ Now where did I leave that doughnut?! |

Unlimited space but files can only be 500 kb, great for graphics and info sites. http://graphicbox.co.uk Free, 20 mb and no ads although they give you 5 more mbs if you disply their banner. Please don't bother with Geocities or Xoom, they just suck... harder than a nuclear vaccum cleaner, I never even bother to go to sites hosted their. and if you sign up with Xomm they clog up your mailbox, up to 5 ads a day...its freaky! ------------------ Keldorn's Younger brother |

www.worldzone.net is easily the best free webhost...it is also the best paying webhost I have found. Only $36 a year.
The ads on Worldzone are bottom in-line based so they do not take away from your site(add afew tags to mae the ads seperated from your content. You can also pay $12 a year to have no ads. if you want a good domain registrar www.directnic.com has $15 dollar a year domains. ------------------ I am YOUR omega. Well just to add there's tripod too, exactly the same as Angelfire (both owned by Lycos) but that gives you a cgi-bin directory too. This might well come in useful when you become proficient with building webpages and want to add scripts.
