Since i usually have two spellcasters, Juggernauts are no big problem.
My vote for annoying monster is for the unicorns. You encounter a group, and all but one run away, and it takes forever for the combat to end. |

I think my worst are the Genii of the Clods or whatever. I hate anything that casts Deathcloud because I restart the battle if I have any deaths. Most critters don't bother me anymore.
Actually, I meant Clouds but Genii of the Clods has a certain oafish ring to it! ![]()

I love milipedes. By the time i'm facing them, i usually have enough AC and Missile Shield to use them for Reflextion and magic practise.
What i dislike most are Sprites--any kind, at any level. They're just annoying with their spells and resistances, and it takes two rounds just to approach them if you get caught in the open. |

Sprites get my vote as well, especially earth sprites that cast quicksand every round. grrr.
Juggernauts were never a problem for me because I just ran away from them all the time =P |

eh all those are good...but my personal and alltime favorite is the oak saplings in the trynnie tree(in the area u need the blue marble to get into) they always keep casting spells before i have a chance to attack them.

Against the oak sapling: Enter combat before they can see you. Start combat, and damage them with a ball spell near them. In the next combat round, you usually cast buff spells. When they come to you, retreat into the anti-magic area to fight them (be sure they can't cast on you as long as they are in the corridor). If necessary, you can retreat to the blue marble door. From there, you can attack them with spells, and they can't cast back.

the nightmare monsters that make you confused and then run away are the most annoying monsters. they are usually in the swamp.
