the mystery green dot in ascension peak - Page 2

WEll the one difference between my game and yours is that i didnt complete the alliance quest fully. I wonder if there is anything that becomes hostile after completing the alliance quest.

I also thought I saw an odd green dot, but in Marten's Bluff! I was outside at the rock arch in front of the fort entrance, and it seemed to be directly above (or below) me. Didn't see a thing. I walked around trying to find a way up, no luck. Anyone else have that experience? Maybe it is a tracker. Someone said he he was tracking me from the trees at some point, maybe Al-Adryian (Rapax). Sure would be an interesting twist.

DEpending on where you are in the game that is the rapax assasin ziggaurat.

That is interesting though because how that guy works is he is in a one way room ( hiding) and then when you summon him he goes to the bait.

Soo... that gives maybe some insight into the last green dot? I think it does. I think it is Phoonzang inside a one way room, and when you summon him via an ending he runs out to the correct spot.

I too noticed the green dot. It is not Vi since I had her with me when I went in. I had also completed the T'Rang Umpani alliance and the dot was not Red but green. Maybe it had to do with the Higardi priest at the Mtn Wilderness cave. I also think it was an unfinished part of the game just like the yellow dot monster in one of the river exits at Ascension Peak (I think it was the path to the Chaos Moliri temple about mid way. No monster was visible and I searched all other paths at Ascension Peak near the dot and nothing.

Yeh, I couldn't find anything there either (yellow dot by stream) even with detect spell at max. I kept expecting something fun where the stream entered the mountain.

It is Phoonzang. I'm pretty sure. Why? Because two things help this conclusion. 1, have X-ray on. 2, during the act that phoonzang comes, you'll see that green dot move at amazing speeds to in front of you. So i'm almost positive its Phoonzang.

Is there any way to edit your current location or the location of a character on the map? If possible you could move yourself up to him/her or move him/her down to you.
