OK, so stupid me goes and orders this book MONTHS ago from amazon.com. In my excitement I forgot to change the shipping address to my house....which means its supposed to be delivered to my office....which is closed on the weekends....
I tried to call UPS and they said they are delivering the books to the post office (some sort of arrangement they have for this kind of thing). Called the post office to see if they'll send it to my house....post office said they'll try their best...
I'm not getting a good feeling about this at all. I don't want to wait until MONDAY!!!

I didn't preorder mine (left it too late, they couldn't promise on-the-day delivery) so I'm just hoping when the mother goes to Tesco for the weekly shopping they have a copy that she can grab!

I'm going to Walmart tonight between 10pm and 11:30pm. I will NOT be dressing up for it, and I WILL avoid the cameras if the news crew shows up. I also plan to read as many chapters as I can tonight, maybe stopping at 3am. I plan to try to finish it as soon as I can, but I have to work Saturday evening and church Sunday will probably slow me down this weekend considerably.

HAHA! Just for fun, we went. The big books-a-million had like 300+ people OUTSIDE! The line went all the way inside. I was like, F that. So we went to the smaller Walmart, and wa-la. NO one was there, and they had a massive stack of them, for $17.78! (Cheaper tham BAM!) The original price was $34.99--I know most retailers are selling it cheaper, to compete. As I we were leaving, we saw others, I assume that tried BAM, saw our book in the bag, and said "THEY HAVE IT!" and I said "and you don't have to wait 8 hours to get it!"

Was fun! Never do any of this crazy stuff usually. But I was wanting to get some snacks for tonight/tomorrow so I gave in!

It's 760-ish pages, but in kinda child edition print, so I'll blow through it in a few nights. Gotta finish my Forgotten Realms Dungeon Series book "Howling Delve" too! (Its a good paperback Larry, snag it!)

Started today at 11 am, finished at 8 pm. Won't spoil anything in this thread though, not even impressions I had of it. (had the book from Amazon)
