Well, know that I've actually seen the movie I can say what I think.
I thought that the part about we all live in a locker in a wall was very good. Let's you know that the producers either thought that it would be funny or that they thought that humans weren't the best in the universe.
The bad lady was scaaary with all of those vine type thingos coming out of her fingers and tongue (eeew..).
Kay was a little too..."Jay you are too young to be doing this job". I didn't like that attitude much.
Michael Jackson showing up was really funny!
They could have put a little more imagination into the aliens.
Good movie over all though.

First things first. I enjoyed this movie! I own the first one on DVD, and was looking forward to the sequel very much. I still think the first one was better, only because it was fresh at the time, and it wasn’t as blatantly comic. It held a certain sense of wonder which the second one doesn’t attempt to achieve. It just throws comic silliness and special effects at you continuously. It is funny (Ballchinian anyone?), and the CGI is impressive, which means I guess they succeeded with what they went out to achieve.

I give it a 7 out of 10.

Avi.

I think what was lacking was origonality... since it followed pretty closely the formula that made MIB a hit. Having said that I really liked it, I thought it was entertaining for adults and yet they seemed to have taken some of the edge off in an acknowledgement that MIB appealed to kids... and that lots of kids would be seeing this one.

We figured that we'd have to censor it for our 6 year old (he was BEGGING to see it) like we did for MIB 1... basically cover his eyes during the really scary/adult parts. But this one had all the fun but was more kid friendly that the first one. Great movie.

The dog was hilarious. Other than that, there were some funny moments, but the movie was pretty flat and relatively uninteresting. They have a good concept, an agency that investigates aliens living on earth. But they can't figure out whether it's an action movie, a comedy or something else. For an action movie, it's too easy. For a comedy, it's not funny enough. The characters are flat as cardboard, and you really don't know or care about them. On top of that, it's so overhyped that even a really good movie would have a hard time living up to all of that.

It was way too short. They shoulda made it longer! I think thats what the movie lacked. But....of course, Frank was great!

Who let the dogs out? BARK, BARK BARK BARK.....

Seems that for many people Frank stole the show.
I thought it was ok, but it never really got off the ground for me. There were a few funny bits (mostly with Frank) but it just seemed somewhat... dull. Overall, I guess I'd say I enjoyed it, but was disappointed. I was happy that, as a theater manager, I got to see it for free.
