These guys are not that easy to kill.
I think a lot of it goes by HOW you kill them. Not meaning the xp you earn how you kill them, but rather, by HOW easy it would be to kill them. At lower levels, I have a bit of a struggle against a giant. Now, it's as easy as time stop, harm, and attack. Or, Time stop, attack, and attack some more. Or the long way, just attack, attack, attack. I can kill 1 in 1 round or use other spell items and whack them in 5. Just depends. At lower level, you don't have those options. It may be attack, retreat, attack some more, retreat. If you are lucky, maybe Range attack, retreat, range attack, retreat or Range attack from a spot they can not hit you at (like if you are on a cliff and they are below you - and you use range attack). I don't mind the lower xp now. I figure it's just helping me not to MAX out my XP too fast. Cause it goes really fast at the lower levels.

The dragon is around 10,000 years old. He was born when the Creator Races were still roaming the lands, and the land was hot, as he said. He was made guardian of that Word of Power when the Creator Races descended into the Source Stone, so he would have to be at least 10,000 years old. Note "at least".
