Harper Hold spoilers - Page 2

Ok, well I have just entered Ust Natha, but not before I saved the game right in front of the Hold, in case Jaheira would leave my party during Spellhold or Underdark. We are in Ust natha right now; so far she has not even mentioned meeting Galvarey - in Athkatla she kept demanding that we should go see the Harpers - so, I think I'll be able to keep her in time to return to Athkatla, once I'm back I'll try to enter it, if I cannot I'll have to CLUA console myself inside.

Just in case, here's what happened:

1 talked to that mage dude
2 rescued his friend from the harper hold
3 mage dude got nailed
4 a girl came and took Jaheira away
5 Jaheira came back
6 Jaheira tells me to go to the hold
7 damned Hold door is locked and not even Yoshi can lockpick it.

well as you've done the "return the poisoned man to his friend" quest or the quest for Rylock about killing Prebrek you should have been inside (and you have if you got Xzar, the mage dude's

friend)
the door SHOULD be open
as for Galvarey he came to me after the underdark, when i arrived in one of the areas after it.

I'm pissed. I have re-installed the official patch, the one with nearly 9mb, with the link in the BG ironworks site.
I teleported myself into the Hold, but now Galvarey "does not have anything to say to me".
This is pretty f**** up as I have finished the game like 3 weeks ago with another party and I had absolutely no problem doing this quest. I think the problem might have been my romance with Jaheira once we seemed to have something going on, but all of the sudden we lost it....any helpful thoughts?

Something really weird now. I was walking around the docks forging some stuff with Cromwell, when I decided't was time to rest, I went to that Tavern in the Docks, Sea's bounty, I guess, and I went downstair, to talk to storekeepr and rest; when I reach the lower level someone that I thought should not be there was. Baron Ployer! I thought I had killed him and alland saved Jaheira, I was pretty sure, but I checked my Journal and it does not mention anything 'bou ployer's curse, and when I talk to him just says to me get out of his way, cuz he is waiting for someone.
I have the official patch installed and all... I don't know how to solve that, and I think Poyer's return messed up with Jaheira/Myslef romance and somehow that affected my Harper Hold quest, therefore my meeting with Galvarey. any helpful thoughts?

Do you have ToB installed? If so, you installed the ToB patch and not the SoA patch, right?

nope no soa installed... anyway I simply forgot 'bout it and finished the game yesterday Jaheira didnt say anything else after the underdark... so im startin a new game any time soon and ill keep an eye for any weird stuff like that.. let's see ¬¬
