Quite possibly. But I really can't be asked right now. j/k.
Azaghal, sorry you're right, it is D'Arnise, I just have dodgy pronounciation and I was on a specil spelling thing in year 5/6.I've been saying almost all of their names wrong, so I spell them wrong.
And there's a thread in this forum somewhere that says jan's middle name is Jakobar. I just wanted to put it there to look smart. Apparently if you have him talk to his cousin Kyle or something...

Well, tecnically a fighter like Minsc takes the surname of their dejemma, or witch, but since he doesnt have one, hes half nameless

Minsc did have one in the first game though... would he keep it if that rule applied? And I've heard he can take Aerie as his witch.

His witch is dead, so he has no surname. His current witch, Aerie, doesnt have one so he doesnt. (I like P&P D&D)

EDIT: Oh, and Haer'Dalis is half-demon. They dont have surnames.

Yea, I suspect Haer'Dalis is the single name for all his names i.e that is his full name yet it is not split into two.

And sorry about the nitpicking, but it is Nalia D'Arnise (at least in the German version). A family as old and noble as hers would sure emphasize the right spelling of their name.

Oh, and it's lovely to be back.

"Jakobar" can also be gleaned (and more quickly) simply by having a bit of a chin-wag with his cousin, Kylie.

Not if the family itself can't keep its own name straight: Compare the Description of Nalia's Ring with the name of her Keep, and other places where it crops up. Slight spelling variations abound, which is a perfectly natural result in gradual language changes over time. I took advantage of this when I designed the Delryn Family Helmet for LennonCook: I spelled the name of Anomen's ancestor "d'Elrynn," thus tossing in connotative links to Myth Rynn and the de'Arnise style of surnames.
