Default Re: Obama reins in Fed attack dog on States' and Individuals' rights

As long as the stuff doesn't cross States lines or come into the country from an outside source the Fed shouldn't have anything to do with it. That is what the political process in the individual states are for, let the people of the States decide what they want in their state. If we don't like what our state does change it at the ballot box or move to a state more in line with your thinking. Ain't this a great country!

I don't know if this was really a victory for States' rights. Civil rights perhaps, human rights for sure in those 14 states. The DOJ didn't really change any law, policy or regulation, just how resources are to be allocated.

Marijuana is still arbitarily classified same as heroine and other very hard drugs.

Some places can still send you away to prison for a very long time just for having enough of it.

In 36 states The People don't have the full and best of choice for medical and health treatment.

The black market caused by prohibition creates violence, hugely inflated prices, and a giant goverment beauracracy to fight it.

Personal freedom is infringed upon.

Lots of what is wrong is still wrong.
