I think it would be reasonable to assume you could mentally "shout" creating enough psychic noise that a telepath could pick up on you, of course that would alert Ruby and Amethyst as well as Arcades, however you could not initiate the speach, it's similar to the vibes you would feel in a room where alot of strong emotion has been let off, ie a house where many people were murdered has alot of emotional weight lying around even years after the event took place, someone sensitive enough could pick up on your "tension" and if curious enough ask you about it, but that's still not the same as mentally saying "hey arcades, talk to me" (this is the rational behind my post where i "spoke" to any psions in the area earlier in the game, it doesn't give you the power to really speak to anyone, just a chance for them to notice, and possibly "speak" to you.

hope this makes sense, and isn't treading on any toes. It would probably be easier for you to say something along the lines of "i'd like to speak to you privately"

Larry is down the path a ways, sitting down on a rock and watching a butterfly play among the flowers at the forest's edge.

When everyone has gotten to a point that they are ready for travel to their locations of assingment...I will advance each party to the beginning of their adventure, that nobody has to waste fifteen posts in "walk-time."

Please let me know when everyone is ready to go, and I will start the adventures. Until then, do whatever you need to, to get prepared.
