Natasha

Eagerly, she outstretches her palms in welcome to the bird that flutters in. Her deft fingers remove the piece of parchment, and she rewards the messenger with a bowl of dried fruit and seed.

Her attention now fully on the contents of the parchment, she mouths an "O" silently before breaking into a fit of near hysteria.

"Harriet!" ~ She was breathing hard ~ "Come over here at once! Hurry up!" ~ The maid scurried in, with feather duster and the other hand holding on to the over-sized cap ~ "Pack my bags at once! I'm leaving right away!" ~ Shooing the puzzled creature away before she had to reply to more redundant questions.

"Gilbert!"

The stable lad sprinted in, his blue eyes betraying lovesickness ~ "I need to leave right away - to Jonathan. Get my carriage ready now!" ~ She paused momentarily, and that was enough to find herself swept by a wave of fiery kisses as the audacious fellow wrapped her in his muscular arms and rained his passion upon her.

Before she could protest, however, he'd let her go, giving her a gruff order ~ "You come back right when you'r done, or I'll be looking for you." ~ With that, he patted her lightly on the rear and strut off, grinning to himself as he heard her stifled scream.

LADY GALADRIA(to Isaura)"Hmmph. We must practice what I learned as a youngling. A=allies. We must have some. So, we will go to an old friend of mine, Amroth, who tried to be a Paladin and failed. But, he is a sweet lad, and his castle will be commodious for us." (mounts Gold Top) Come along, we shall meet with him before today is any older."

OOC: I'm back - and confused [img]graemlins/reallyroll.gif[/img]

An update: I handed in my master's thesis a week ago and have to defend it in another weeks time - so I haven't had that much time online. It seems that I have also suffered from a misconception in regards to where the plot was going. I thought that everybody would follow SG back to the dragon's lair (like you followed him to orc's canyon) - and instead the group have scattered to the four winds - and SG was left 'stranded' in a forest. Appently SG was supposed to return - and he will as soon as I have figured out how to manage it 'logically'.

EDIT: Here is Attalus post to me:

(To Sanael) "Good Ranger, you can travel fast and undetected. Can you get to the Dragon's den and see what visitors he has? For, they may give us a clue."

and my response:

"So it is back to dragon again? I wish these villains would stay closer together. Then we wouldn't have to travel so much."

"I will just gather my equipment - then I will be off. Meet me near the druids grove."

She nods eagerly, eager to focus on the positive. The birthright is her precious dream, and it is unthinkable for this to shatter - no, that would be far too cruel of Fate surely, having snatched Raymond away from her?

They continue on their journey, pausing only where absolutely necessary. Before long, they have approached their destination in good time.

LADY GALADRIA (She leads the way to a castle south of town. It is peculiar, being three-sided, the better to fit ino a corner of the mountains where the third side look off a sheer cliff. They stop on the winding road leading to the gate to admire the vistas of distant mountains and hawks wheeling in the air, and hearing their cries. They trot up to the front gate, which is open but guarded. On challenge, she replies.) "Tell Lord Amroth that Lady Galadria Foebane is here, with a guest that he shall want to meet." (After a short wait, they are admitted.)

SIR BLANDAMOUR (To Eliza) "Well, there you have it, I love you. Now, we must waste no more time. I need to talk to Kinn'zuwannik. Let us ried back to the druid grove, and see what Sanael and Verloren have discovered." (They ride back to the druid grove and look around for their comrades.)

ILLEK (To Verloren)"Hmmm, yes, we must be off. We must try the mountain pass today, that is the most dangerous part of the trip." (They set off at a good clip. The trail rapidly narrows and they find themselves walking on a ledge that overlooks a frowning chasm. Small pebbles dislodged by their feet go tumbling away, not even to be heard in the windswept heights. Suddenly Verloren feels the trail crumble beneath her feet, and only a wild grab onto a shrub saves her from a fatal fall. She tries to gain purchase but there is nothing for her feet to take hold of. Suddenly, she is aware of an iron grip on her right wrist, and she sees Illek's blazing eyes looking at her from the ledge above. With some difficulty, he pulls her up to safety. When she is up and safe, he tumbles to the ground, panting.)

Still shaking from her near death experience, Verloren dropped to her knees next to Illek, "By Torga'Nath, you just saved my life! Are you ok?" she layed her hands on his chest until his breathing returned to normal, "Are you ready to continue, or do you wish to rest here awhile?" she brushed back loose strands of hair from her face and looked at him intently.

ILLEK(gasps) "By Rillifane, I did it. I barely had time to cast Bull's Strength on myself before that tree gave way." (His breathing eases)"No, we must get out of this area. I do not trust the spirits of this place. They like me not, nor do they have cause to." (He scrambles to his feet) "You are all right, though, that is the main thing." (He offers her a small leather flask. She takes a sip, and immediately feels much better. He follows with a sip of his own, and color comes back into his face.)
