hi peeps, i have a question. Since i never log out on any of the forums i post on i never took the trouble of writing down my passwords. Now i'm in a situation where i probably have to do a format, all running programs seem to be corrupted somehow. Only thing i can do right now is go on the internet, but playing games is impossible, i don't even have sound right now. Here's my question: when i do a format, do i need to reregister once i'm back ? In that case i'm in trouble because i don't have the passwords anymore.

johnny, usually if you log out and then go to the login screen of a forum, there will be a "forgot my password" button or option. If you click that, it sends your pw to the addy you used to register with.

LOL, it's one reason I don't use Outlook at home! It's the reason I get so many weird emails in Korean, offering to sell me stuff at work- apparently the spamcretins love Outlook....it's good for viruses too. You may want to do a virus scan of your system, johnny, just in case!
