ELIZA (To Sanael, slowly) "I do not know. It appears to be a collar of sort, and I can detect magic in it." (Turns to Blandamour) "My lord, see what I found on the creature's neck."

*The amulet is tarnished silver, with a stylised skull on it. Perhaps you can identify it later.*

SIR BLANDAMOUR (Looks at it closely) "I know not it's purpose, but I feel evil emanating from it. I shall take charge of it and let the sages of the Order House look at it."

Avalon
The dragon woke with a start as a beam of sunlight pierced through the clouds and struck his eyelid. Yawning loudly, he stretched magnificently and stomped over to his small alcove. When he lowered his eye to the opening, he was surprised to see his princess curled up in the elf's lap, holding almost tenaciously on to his cloak. He should have expected this, but he was still hurt. If only he had known of her capture earlier, he could have prevented this. Ah well, the dragon still had to be dealt with no matter what. He poked a claw into the cavern and lightly touched Verloren's back,
"Time to get up princess,"

Verloren
She jumped when she felt the claw, then realized it was Avalon, and that she was still wrapped in Illek's cloak. She hastily jumped off him, but she could tell by Avalon's eyes it was no good thing. Instead she smiled weakly
"Are we to meet Blandamour then? He might want to know that we shall be killing the black dragon."

Avalon
He sighed,
"Of course we shall meet him. I will let you wake up properly for a moment while I go stretch my wings," he stalked away and hurled himself out on the clouds, flapping his wings then diving towards the forest, he let himself drift over to where Verloren said Kinn'zuwanik lived. In no time he was gliding over his cave. With a snarl he let out a booming roar over the black's dwelling that caused the animals near the cave to flee. Snorting ice, Avalon pumped away to his favorite hunting grounds.

Verloren
Verloren sighed sadly and looked at Illek, "That is not how I wanted him to find out. I should have known better...," shaking her head, she pulled off her shirt and dug into her bag for a clean one.

*As the great silver dragon roars over Kinn'zuwannik's old cave, a pebble shakes loose from the cave roof. It strikes the floor and rolls a short way. The cave is cold and empty. Even the acid smell is dissipating.*

ILLEK(He helps Verloren dress.) "Princess, the great thing is how you feel. Did you not tell me that he is the one that broke your affair off, citing the difference in your life spans? Well, it seems that even a dragon has regrets. he will have to live with them and abide your choices, if he loves you yet."

Verloren allowed Illek to slip her shirt on, then reached back and took both his hands, drawing him against her,

"I know he will Illek. Actually, it was the fact that I was leaving to marry another, that he broke it off, and stated he would wait for my return. That is the root of my guilt," she squeezed his hands and sighed, then sat down and wrapped her arms around his legs, waiting for Avalon's return

OOC: Look on page 4, Jen. He has gotten the vase back, and, like the wise coward that he is, fled to his swamp den. The relevant post is right after one of Legolas'.

ILLEK (He sighs and begins to run his hands through her hair. He parts it over each shoulder, then begins to massage her back, feeling the tension there begin to relax under his skilled ministrations. So often had she had him do that. He stiffens slightly and firmly represses the memory.

Verloren
She could feel Illek's smooth fingers on her back, working on the tension there. Closing her eyes to enjoy it as much as she can, she relaxed into his touch dropped her head. She felt him stiffen for a brief moment, and guessed his thoughts. She turned around and looked at him,

"I am not Nataskia, remember that," and left it on that note.

Avalon
Slightly dissapointed that his challenge had not been answered, he ditched his hunting site and flew back across to land in front of the cave, transforming into his elven self. Peering into the cave, he heard no breathing or scuffling of a dragon, only a faded scent remained. Frowning, he examined the ground; among a small set of orc prints, there were also a pair of human feet. He quickly sniffed out the path and trotted down it, and soon enough a human, possibly a paladin was in his line of sight. Without revelaing his true form, Avalon questioned the messanger on the black dragons location. All the human recalled was that he was returning to his swamp, although where it was he had no idea. Forgetting about the human, he morphed back into dragon form and took off towards his own dwelling, forming once again to elven upon arrival. He located Verloren and the elf in the alcove; the elf simply sitting, and his princess reading one of his books. She smiled weakly at him, and managed to melt his hart. Shaking himself, he looked at her seriously,
"My dear, Kinn'zuwanik is no longer in his cave. I located a human who had visted him, and apparently he was returning to his home at the swamp. I, unfortunaltey, do not know of any in this area."

Verloren
Verloren blinked, "I do not know any swamps either, my lord Avalon. I am not familiar with this area at all...well, except this area of course," she flushed and looked at Illek, "What about you? Surely you know of some?"

ILLEK (He ponders deeply) "My Princess, the only swamp that is anywhere nearabouts is the Great Enfereneous Swamp, where the river that goes past your father's castle meets the Singing Sea. It has an ill name, and could be well where the black wyrm has his den. I have been there, and can gladly lead you, though the memory of the swamp is evil, and it stinks, especially on an East Wind. I have encountered small black dragons there, but I must confee that I have never see one the likes of Kinn'zuwannik." (Bows to Avalon) "No offense to you, of course, O Silver One."

He inclined his head slightly, "None taken. If you would tell me where this swamp is, I would gladly fly you to its edge, then guard you in my natural form while you locate his cave," he backed out of the alcove and morphed, holding out his scaled claws for them to climb on.
