Replace "Rockefeller" with "Windsor" (Or their real name of Saxe-Coberg Gotha), and you've just given a pretty decent assessment of the British Monarchy. I would like to see your plan follow through on them, too

one year of college for me next year will cost me roughly 61k and I am not in a medical or law school. It would be very nice if someone could send me up some more scholarships so that my student loans won't be that huge when I get out of college.

Despite the riches that Gates has, by comparison, he has nowhere near the level of raw wealth that Carnegie, Mellon, or Rockafeller had in their day.

I don't remember the exact figures, but I remember a white paper on it when I worked at The Vanguard Group (huge mutual fund co).

Using rough figures and 1998 dollars:
Gates ~ $50 billion
