Are you talking about toning down the Greater Werebears? Yes, he did:
Quote:
From the Ease-of-Use README:
From Release 14:
* Shifter Rebalance: Animal Summoning is now much weaker. In
particular, the Greater Wearberes are now a 22nd level summon and
the default behavior is to summon Normal Weaberes. They have
two-thirds the hit-dice and attacks, but most notably their
regeneration is much slower. The spell description is not changed
because this fix is not finalized -- I encourage comment.

My lvl 15/15 or so fighter/cleric summoned a greater werebear I think.
Forgot I installed that part of the mod.
Anywayz, my fighter/mage dual-wielding CF and Sanchuudoku got him to near death, but he was pretty injured at that point too
( no protective spells, AC -4 ).
He paused, healed a little, only to find the greater werebear happy as ever and uninjured. Those big huggybears 'll last longer than I can in any battle me thinks

Daan, do you have the latest version of Ease-of-Use?
It sounds like you are still summoning the "older" Werebears...

I meant if he fixed his Shapeshifter...he mentioned correcting something that he considered overpowered in a previous post. Anyway, may I have a link to the latest version?

hmm its still in 1.4 version. i kinda liked the werewolf but when it comes to solo he would be pretty pathetic against monsters of +5 weapons needed. unless he is in human form.

Er... there is no monster that requires +5 enchanted weapons. +4 is all you need to complete SoA-ToB.

And of course, in the wonderful world of Faerun, +4 weapons grow on trees, line the streets, are freely available from lowly bartenders, and are to be found in the hands of even the smallest, poorest street urchin

You won't have a problem finding +4 weapons

.....but to a Shapeshifter, that's still quite a problem, since The Paw is only +3 enchanted, meaning hitting people like Improved Demogorgon will be tricky: You can either Dual-wield, with The Paw in your offhand, or drop The Paw altogether and use the Big Metal Unit instead.

(I finally found the correct way to express my feelings about The Paw: It's a Big Metal Unit, available on Day 4 of SoA.)
