Location of Enchanted +4 and +5 weapons??? - Page 2

Just a gentle reminder that +4/5 launcher-type weapons does not affect the factor in determining whether you can hit a particular creature. If there is a monster that requires +3 enchanted weapons in order to be hurt, using +1 arrows with a +3 bow will not work. The arrow must be +3 enchanted.

Thanks for all the responses but...Uh...I got a couple of questions...(they're all about Watcher's Keep)

Question #1: Are there any +4/+5 weapons in Watcher's Keep???
(Besides Ixil's Nail and the Flail of Ages heads)

Question #2: Can Cromwell forge the Flail of Ages heads that are in Watcher's Keep???

Question #3: Doesn't someone in Watcher's Keep sell something that is +4???

Question #4 Is (all of) Ixil's Nail in Watcher's Keep???

To put it bluntly, there is a lot.

To make the FoA into a +4/5 enchanted weapon, you need to go to your Pocket Plane in ToB and get Cespenar to forge it for you.

Yes, on the roof. Short Sword of Mask +4 and Firetooth +4.

Question #4 Is (all of) Ixil's Nail in Watcher's Keep???

Yes.

(Too bad about the Flail of Ages...I wanted it for Minsc in SoA, oh well...I'll find him something else

(Hey folks, Been away for a while. My modem malfunctioned)

A note about the firetooth crossbow, despite the fire arrows being only +2 the crossbow hits as atleast a +4 weapon, I'm certain of this as I slew Kangaxx with it.

With a +6 to THAC0 and Damage I think's it's quite safe to say it's the most powerful weapon you can get for about 11000 gps and in the begining of the game. And when upgraded it's propably the most powerful ranged weapon in the game and most certainly the weapon with the greatest THAC0 bonus.
