I installed BG2 on my new comp, and I can't seem to get the scripts for the characters to work. The one I am really concerned with is the thief one to detect traps. It is a pain to have to manually set to dectect traps after ever fight. Anyone know how to get the scripts working?

The only thing that comes to mind is that you might not have your AI turned on at all. There's a little button in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen that toggles it.
