(Continued from the Lady Lioness's Court thread, the knights and mages of the Castle of Kernhalm are going to investigate an old ruin infested with ghouls which an enigmatic character called Eclipse(LS) warned them about.)
Neb and Mistral fly ahead, after flying for an hour, they can see the ruins, as they get closer, the stench of rotting corpses assault their nostrils and they have great difficulty not throwing up from the stench, soon, the gryphon refuses to fly any closer and Neb and Mistral land in a small clearing about a quarter of a mile from the ruins, the gryphon quickly leaves after they land and the two continue on foot. ------------------ Worshipper of Tiax. Neb goes ahead, followed by Mistral, the stench is soon almost unbearable and Neb asks Mistral, "Do you *cough* happen to know the spell *throw up* Zone of Sweet Air? I think it might be useful."

Mistral's face is sickly pale, and she nods. "I have 3 of that spell." She casts it quickly and the stench clears. "Let's hope we shall not need too much of that, for I should hate resting and praying all the time."
A thought suddenly occurs to her. "Neb, I cannot detect or disarm traps. Can you?" |

"I've got a few scrolls of Detect Traps and if they're magical I can dispel them, if they're physical however, like a tripwire triggering a trapdoor, we'll just have to go around them." Waverider teleports in and Neb says, "Ah, it seems as though our Lady as sent us some reinforcements, let's be on our way now, I don't want to be in the area when Mistral's Sweet Air spell stops working."
