Okay........here's a handful of miracles possessed by these creatures that NO BUGS BUNNY is going to EVER possess!!

Budgies usually live to be six to nine years old, but there are reports of some living to be twenty!!

Budgies are native to the beautiful land known as Australia. They lead nomadic lives in the wild. They travel in large flocks, damaging crops, and enjoying life.

The common wild budgie is a little smaller than their domesticated cousins.

Domesticated budgies can be taught to talk, but not all will. Males have a better reputation for talking than females.

To tell the difference between males and females, look at the cere. If it is blue, it is a male. If it is brown or dark pink, it is a female, like me.

Budgies are the most common parrot pet, followed closely behind by the cockatiels.

Budgies are the best animals in the world, by all means, and should always be loved and cared for by everyone.

They can be trained to repeat simple commands - similiar to the African Grey, but less talented. However it's funny. I had a blue budgie a while ago that died from age - it used to mimic the kettle whistling.

Basically everytime I made a cup of tea. It whistled, then I fed it some treats. (loves cornflakes apparently - Kellogg's Honey & Nut)

If I still lived in the country (and still had rabbits)I would in a heartbeat it is a lot of fun.Actually the only thing on the small farm I grew up on that I enjoyed more was working the forge.Have a couple awesome swords and knives, but I have even more cruddy "oh my what the hell is that suppost to be" ones. It's funny if you enjoy it it dosn't seem like work,8 years later my right arm is still noticably larger then my left.
