Woohoo !
I finally reached 13th lvl kensai, and he's impressive allready.
But now that I've dualled him to a mage, i find that i still cant use bracers ..
I know Kensai's cant wear bracers, but technically he isnt a kensai anymore, is he ?
Anywayz, is is true that, when dual-classing, your PC gets the restrictions of BOTH classes or something ?

Thx for any replies

Congrats!

Anyway, yes, he still is a Kensai, but he doesnt get any stronger as a Kensai. He is both classes now.
And yes, technically, you should get both the advantages and disadvantages for both classes.

But as I'm not the absolute expert when it comes to dual-classing, I'm not too sure about this.

Though i can afford it, i'm just gonna let the robe of vecna go for now ....
I'd hate to see an opponent's reaction, when he sees me casting a Magic missile with top speed .... and then running like hell, since all i can memorize is one spell

Dean- my recommendation is to grab every scroll you can find and memorize it...that'll help to get your mage some more levels, and give you spells as well...meanwhile, no bracers, but as someone said, Robe of Vecna is nice, and gives you base AC 5 (the best you would've gotten from bracers anyways was AC 3).

If you dualed your Kensai at level 13, then you will have to wait until your mage reaches level 14 before you will regain the Kensai abilities. Yep the quickest way to gain xp's fast would be to boot your entire party, then memorize every spell you can to get all the points for your character and then pick up your party again. Second to that, keep your party, and go wild memorizing spells, but the points will be spread among the entire party this way. It just depends on how you want to go about it.
