Sythe, I'll take somebody like yourself and your gaming experience over a paid one anyday. His complaint about the melee being lousy, well melee was never great in the first two either. Garrett wielding a longsword meant you were in desperate straights. Can anyone say "reload time"? I don't know if I posted this previously but if you want even a deeper review of the game go to www.ttlg.com and scroll down to a May 13th column by Dan. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I read the review Dan did, but I would wait to read ALL reviews before--if you are waiting for reviews. I know I am buying it from EB, a place that excepts returns (if this game sucks). I'll post my comments on T3 soon... |

I am a huge fan of the Thief series and looking at the info provided by GameSpy has lead me to believe that it will not be dissapointing

Graphics don't make a game good. Hell, Thief I and II had crappy graphics, yet I STILL Love to play it. I mean, come on, its DARK as hell, and you don't even SEE the textures! [img]smile.gif[/img]
Gameplay and Atmosphere are the two things that 'make' a game. |
