I am running a Pladin type character.....currently level 8. I just realised that none of the main skills use INT. Would alchemy be of use to make mana potions to keep myself topped up? (just using magic for healing in the main)
Second question is....is there a problem with doing the main quest after doing loads of side quests and levelling (or would it be extremely hard to cope at a higher level)? Thanks in advance

If you've made it as far as level eight, your character isn't broken. If your INT attribute is only really being used to determine your magicka reserves (which you're only using for healing), then using an INT based skill to make magicka potions for WIL based spells is a very inefficient way of raising a non-essential attribute. If you know what i mean?
By the sounds of it, your Restoration skill (WIL) is your primary source of healing. If a lower INT attribute is making it difficult to keep your health topped up (due to low magicka), use your alchemy skill to make healing potions instead. This way, you're sharing the burden of healing over two mediocre methods (as opposed to one) and raising your INT the whole time which will eventually give you two very effective methods of healing. ![]() Attempting the MQ at higher levels might not hurt your character so much, but at every part where you are supposed to fight alongside comrades, you may find yourself feeling lonely...

Don't worry about not having a major based on int: if anything, its easier to increase attributes based on minor skills, since they can't accidently cause you to level.
Alchemy can be very profitable, and an easy way to increase intelligence. I don't remember just how to do it in Morrowind, though. |

BTW, the easies way to level intelligence is cast mysticism spells over and over. Just but a weight on that cast button.
