Bandit Info Needed

When I first started playing the game about 6 months ago, early on I got quest to kill a nord bandit north of Hla Oad, or Gnaar Mok (I don't remember which one specifically). I stopped playing shortly thereafter. I am playing again now and I have yet to receive this quest again. I think I had originally got it in Balmora but haven't come across it again. Anybody no where I can pick this quest up??

go to google and search for:

UESP + walkthrough + Morrowind

have a ball looking for it in all of the quests in the game. warning: HUGE spoilers.

also, if you dont want to ruin the storyline, dont read the main quest walkthrough.

I'm pretty sure its given by the guy out at the fort, same one who wants you to get rid of the 'bad people'.

The nice thing is, you can go kill the bandit in question, and forget about it: when the option of discussing him shows up in whoever's dialogue menu, click it.

They say something like "what? you've already taken care of it? You rock!" or words to that effect...

Go to Hla Oad on the west coast head north east and you should come across a path which comes to a bridge. He is standing next to the bridge facing Hla Oad. Speak to him and he will demand money. That's all.
