Varscona? I can't find it on Graywolf

I have replayed the scene several times dealing with the artist finishing his sculpture and Graywolf. I defend the artist from Graywolf and I only get coins as loot. I have done this several times and always the same outcome..NO SWORD..what gives.

I know what you're looking for, but I'm afraid it might be a bug. Yes, Greywolf is supposed to have a Longsword on him that does frost damage, but you can't find it? Do you have any patches installed?

Have you been killing him with a wand of frost by any chance? Destroying someone (when they shatter) with it has also been known to destroy the objects the person is carrying.

Strange! Try cheating and getting the sword as it's well worth it!

I think you may have a bug. I have no trouble, but I have the patch...

Try patching the game and see if that helps at all...

He is talking about the artist who stole the two Emeralds. It is a quest in Nashkel.

I don't really think patching will help that much as Varscona has been on Greywolf in every version of BG1. Have you TotSC installed then you don't need patching (not the BG1 patch anyway).

I'd go with Kormars idea if you do use the wand of frost. I've seen similar effects. How do you usually kill him maxkillen?
