Slavers Quest Bug? *possible spoiler*

I have released the ranger in the Copper Coronet, I followed him to the front
desk where he killed his captor (sorry I am at work and dont remember the
names or spelling well). He then told me about the remaining slaves quest.
I took the entrance via the sewers and made my way up to the ship where I
killed all the slavers and set the children free. I went back to the Copper
Coronet to collect my reward and the ranger was gone! I can't find him
anywhere. I installed the beta patch and I am wondering if this had some
adverse effect on him. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong?

I think u r looking for Hendrik he is at the bar now(next to the fat guy) or maybe he fought the other guy and died in which case u may have to play the whole thing again.

I know he is not dead as I watched him kill the old owner. I then talked to him and he told me to free the remaining slaves which I did. When I returned he had vanished.

This old bug again. Use the CLUA console code 'CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Hendak")'. The console can only be used by going into baldur.ini and adding the line 'Debug Mode=1'.
