Aragorn--loner (doesn't say much)
Gimli--burly (scottish accent)
Legolas--laidback, new-agey voice
Frodo--kindly, (by your honor!)
Gandalf--eccentric (and how!)
Galadriel--intellectual

Smacking people with a shovel is possible! If you import the Long-Handled Spade from CDS (Wiz7). It's a weapon, but it's heavy and doesn't do much damage...but still, you could have Sam the Gardner!!!

You know, Bilbo seemed to have much more going for him than Frodo. Of course his challenges were not quite so earth shaking, although deadly. I think Bilbo leveled up in warrior and rogue skills, Frodo was more psionic and monkish.

I recently created one.
.
.
.
Aragorn - Ranger/Human (boost the sword skill)
Gimli - Fighter/Dwarf (boost the axe skill)
Legolas - Samuri/Elf (boost the bow skill)
Gandalf - Bishop/Human (that way he can cast all spells)
Frodo - Rogue/Hobbit (boost the sword skill [the sword Fang is like Sting])
Sam - Bard (just like a Bard, he "boosted" the moral of the Fellowship)
.
.
.
Aragorn - Friendly (By my honor...)
Gimli - Burly (Tis wit not strength...)
Legolas - Laidback? (something like.. Who can make the muddy water clear...)
Gandalf - Intellectual (You're going to need someone of my superior...)
Frodo - can't remember
Sam - Friendly (Don't worry about a thing friend...)
.
.
.
To be honest, it isn't the easiest group to use but I'm really getting the hang of it, as of late. I'm about mid way through. The weapons look something like this:
.
.
.
Aragorn - Bloodlust and Poison Dagger / Long Bow
Gimli - Hand Axe and Bearded War Axe / Bipennis
Legolas - Demonstring / Enchanted Katana and Wakizabi
Gandalf - Monstrance / Quarter Staff
Frodo - Broadsword and Poignard / Sling
Sam - Broadsword and Poignard / Sling\
.
.
.
If you are a fan of the the books (and movies), it is hard to be precise when selecting your characters and weapons. I'm very happy with my choices here. I honestly think that they are as close as possible.

I think Ranger would be the closest.

Welcome allstargoaly! You must not have much trouble in this game with all that padding!

The only reason I made Legolas a Samuri is for the two swords. If you also look, Samuri can cast different kinds of magic (then Rangers). If you give Legolas a bow and continue to use it, his bow skill will develope. Right now, he is stronger then any Ranger I have ever used.

If not, I also tried this.
.
.
.
Make Legolas a Ranger, but give him dual weapons and "dagger" ability. This way you can give him 2 daggers (primary and secondary). He can strike 2x with the daggers. It isn't as strong as the 2 Samuri weapons but Legolas's weapons weren't very strong in the first place. This works just as well.
